Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Monitor Infrastructure: Continuously monitor servers, networks, and applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Antivirus & Endpoint Management: Experience with antivirus solutions and endpoint management tools.
- Manage Alerts: Respond to alerts, diagnose issues, and escalate to the appropriate IT Teams.
- Log Analysis: Analyze system and application logs to identify and understand error codes and potential issues.
- Network Troubleshooting: Utilize your network experience to diagnose and resolve basic networking issues, including connectivity, latency, and packet loss.
- Incident Response: Document and manage incidents, providing updates and ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams to support infrastructure maintenance and updates.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in the development and implementation of monitoring strategies, tools, and processes to improve overall system reliability.
Required qualifications
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 1+ years in a NOC or monitoring role with IT infrastructure knowledge.
- Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls, with experience in network troubleshooting.
- Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with tools like, Zabbix, or similar.
- Log Management: Experience with log analysis tools such as ELK Stack.
- Knowledge of incident management and ticketing tools (Jira)
- Communication: Ability to convey technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
