Objectives of this Role
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing and analyzing components or systems. They may use computer-aided design tools and simulations to create and evaluate designs for functionality, performance, and safety.
- Play a key role in project planning, including defining project scopes, creating schedules, and estimating budgets. You will responsible for executing the project according to established plans.
- Oversee the prototyping and testing phases of a project. This involves creating prototypes, conducting experiments, and analyzing test results to ensure that designs meet specifications and performance requirements.
- Identify and solve engineering challenges. This may involve troubleshooting issues, proposing solutions, and working collaboratively with team members to address problems that arise during the design or testing process.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Collaborate with professionals from various disciplines, such as other engineering specialties, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure that the project progresses smoothly and meets overall objectives.

Skills and Qualifications
- Mastery of advanced computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Pro/ENGINEER
- Advanced proficiency in engineering analysis methods
- In-depth knowledge of materials properties and advanced understanding of various manufacturing processes, including additive manufacturing and CNC machining.
- Expertise in designing complex machines and mechanisms, including kinematics and dynamics analysis.
- Proficiency in creating and interpreting detailed technical drawings, including knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- In-depth understanding of advanced machine components such as gears, bearings, and linkages.
- Proficiency in designing and analyzing complex mechanical systems.
- Expertise in prototyping concepts and hands-on experience in advanced testing and validation methods
- Application of advanced mathematics and physics principles to solve complex engineering problems.
- Advanced skills in using simulation and modeling tools for complex engineering analyses and system-level simulations
- Application of optimization techniques to improve the performance and efficiency of mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies, such as 3D printing, robotics, and automation.
- In-depth understanding of industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Experience in ensuring designs comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Excellence in creating detailed technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and manuals.
- Expertise in identifying, analyzing, and managing risks associated with mechanical engineering projects.
- Proven ability to innovate and contribute to research and development efforts in the field.
- Leadership in applying new technologies to solve engineering challenges.
